Throughout his career, A.J. has worked with businesses ranging from start-ups to companies generating $100 million in annual revenue.


His experience extends well beyond traditional accounting and financial reporting.

Throughout his career, A.J. has worked with businesses ranging from start-ups to companies generating $100 million in annual revenue.


His experience extends well beyond traditional accounting and financial reporting.


In one executive leadership role, A.J. helped guide a manufacturing company from approximately $22 million to $50 million in annual revenue over six years. During that time, he supported strategies involving financial performance, operational improvement, growth, leadership development, and long-term exit planning.


A.J. also served as General Manager of a manufacturing operation with responsibility for approximately 220 employees.


That combination of CFO and operational leadership gives him a practical understanding of how decisions involving people, pricing, productivity, purchasing, capacity, and workflow affect cash flow and profitability.


A.J. helps business owners move beyond simply reviewing financial statements. He works with leadership to understand what is driving results, what may be limiting performance, and what actions to consider next.


His approach is practical, direct, and grounded in the realities of running a business.

His experience includes building and leading sales organizations responsible for more than $50 million in recurring annual revenue, supporting national expansion initiatives, and helping organizations navigate through periods of significant change.


Rick has also owned and led multiple businesses, giving him a firsthand understanding of the opportunities, pressures, and uncertainty business owners face.


He understands that owners are often expected to make important decisions without having all the information they would like.


At CFO Central, Rick focuses on connecting business owners with the financial leadership and resources needed to better understand their businesses and make confident decisions.
